Explore Ladakh…

Ju-Leh Adventure is a local trekking and travel agency based in Leh, Ladakh. We specialise in personalised itineraries and custom-made tours in Ladakh and Zanskar. We are committed to responsible and sustainable tourism which benefits the local communities.

We organize all kind of outdoor activities in Ladakh: trekking, mountaineering, cultural tours and other adventure activities (mountain biking, river rafting, motorbike tours...).

Custom treks & tours

Our custom treks & tours allow you the freedom and flexibility to design an itinerary that suits perfectly your own special interests, preferences and timing. The benefit of custom-made travel is that we use our skills and experience to suit your every need and we offer suggestions, recommendations and solutions.

We organize custom treks & tours for groups of minimum 3 or 4 persons. Please contact us as early as possible because all our guides and drivers are usually hired many weeks or months in advance.

Fixed departure treks - join a group

Our fixed departure treks are ideal for solo travellers or small groups who want to be part of a larger group. Fixed departure treks are a great opportunity to meet trekkers from various countries while exploring the beautiful landscapes of Ladakh together. They also help you save money, especially if you are a solo traveller.

We offer treks for all levels of difficulty. Each itinerary is carefully designed to help you gradually acclimatize to the altitude, maximizing your chances of completing the trek. Our mission is for every participant in the group to enjoy the adventure and successfully complete their trek. In the mountains, we function as a team, supporting one another to achieve a common goal.

We keep our groups small to build team spirit, with an average of 5 participants per group.

Ecotourism and sustainable tourism

Tourism is a major industry in Ladakh but its growth has had a range of impact on society as well as on environment. We, at Ju-Leh Adventure, strive to reduce impacts on the environment and focus on ensuring economic benefits to local communities.

Homestays

We encourage the tourists to stay in homestays during their trek. This is an effort to stem the region's rural-urban migration and generate income to the rural communities in Ladakh. Since all the households have their own homestay, it ensures that money is equally distributed between the families. So, you could discover the ways of life of the villagers, share meals with the families and learn a few words in Ladakhi.

Education support

Ju-Leh Adventure uses a part of its profit to provide sponsorship to Ladakhi students for their education. The students we sponsor are studying at Lamdon School in Leh and at Mahabodhi School in Choglamsar.

Staff welfare

We believe that our staff (guides, porters, horsemen) is our biggest asset. We take care of our staff and we pay well. The people in our crew are crucial to your enriching experience on the mountains and an important part of our success. So, instead of offering discounts, we offer satisfaction to customers and workers and make it a memorable journey for both.

Environment

We are involved in environmental actions like planting trees and cleanliness campaigns. We go with our staff and horses to the main trekking routes to collect rubbish left by others at the end of every trekking season. We also encourage our customers to reduce waste while travelling.
